1.Acceptance of terms & authority
By registering an account, purchasing hardware or using Paytimate billing and workflow solutions, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company, partnership or restaurant establishment, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.
2.Subscription fees, billing & refund policies
Paid subscription tiers and cloud software licences are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual cycle. All applicable fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable consumer protection laws or stated in specific promotional refund windows. Failure to clear renewal payments may result in suspension or limitation of account access and cloud database synchronisation. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
3.POS hardware warranty & limitations
Paytimate-supplied POS hardware terminals, touch displays and thermal receipt printers include a 1-year replacement warranty covering manufacturing and internal component defects. The warranty is void in cases of physical damage, liquid spills, unauthorised modifications, drops, power surges, or use of non-approved power supply units.
4.Offline mode, local data storage & synchronisation
Paytimate includes local offline capabilities to keep billing running during internet outages. Merchants acknowledge that local device security and hardware integrity remain their responsibility. Paytimate is not liable for un-synced transaction logs, local data corruption or revenue tracking gaps resulting from terminal damage, device theft, hardware crashes, or manual clearing of browser or app cache before a secure cloud connection is re-established.
5.AI features, inventory & operational discretion
Paytimate may include artificial intelligence features such as sales trend predictions, inventory reorder alerts and menu optimisation suggestions. These insights are provided “as is” for informational assistance only. Business operators retain final discretion and responsibility for pricing, food safety, waste management and regulatory compliance.
6.Tax regulations, GST compliance & FSSAI
Our software helps merchants generate GST summary reports, invoice logs and sales records. Merchants and business owners remain solely responsible for the accuracy of statutory tax filings, timely GST returns, tax slab configuration, and compliance with local municipal laws, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act and Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) guidelines.
7.Account security, credentials & role-based access
Account owners and administrators must protect their login credentials and configure role-based access permissions properly (for example restricted views for cashiers, captains or floor managers). Paytimate is not responsible for unauthorised changes, fraudulent cash drops, inventory discrepancies or security breaches caused by internal staff or compromised credentials.
8.Data privacy, security & compliance
Merchant business data and customer transaction records are handled under standard data security practices and applicable privacy regulations, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection framework. We use encryption for data in transit and cloud storage. For details on data collection and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
9.Limitation of liability & force majeure
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paytimate Technologies, its founders, directors and employees are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits or business interruption arising from software bugs, temporary cloud downtime, internet provider failures, or events beyond reasonable control (including acts of God, widespread utility failures, natural disasters or government restrictions).
10.Modifications to terms & service continuity
We may modify, amend or update these Terms of Service at any time to reflect changes in features, hardware or legal requirements. Continued use of Paytimate products after an update means you accept the revised terms.
