1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Paytimate software and hardware services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Paytimate on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
2. Subscription & Payments
Paid subscription plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or specified in our refund policy.
3. Hardware Warranty
Paytimate-supplied POS hardware and thermal printers include a 1-year replacement warranty against manufacturing defects. Physical damage caused by liquid spills, misuse, or power surges may void the warranty.
4. Offline Mode & Data Synchronization
While Paytimate provides robust offline SQLite synchronization capabilities designed to prevent data loss during network interruptions, users acknowledge and agree that local hardware integrity and device storage remain their responsibility. Paytimate shall not be liable for un-synced local transaction records resulting from device damage, hardware failure, or manual clearing of browser/app cache prior to re-establishing an internet connection.
5. AI Features & Recommendations
Paytimate may incorporate artificial intelligence and machine learning features (including automated menu recommendations and sales forecasting). These features are provided on an "as-is" basis to assist restaurant operations. Business owners retain sole discretion and ultimate responsibility for pricing, inventory management, promotional offers, and menu compliance.
6. GST Compliance & Tax Responsibility
While Paytimate tools are designed to assist with GST summary reports and record-keeping, merchants are solely responsible for the accuracy of their tax filings, statutory compliances, and adherence to applicable laws under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) framework and FSSAI regulations in India.
7. Account Security & Role-Based Access
Account owners are responsible for maintaining the security of their login credentials and managing role-based access permissions (Cashiers, Captains, Store Managers) appropriately. Paytimate is not liable for unauthorized actions, billing discrepancies, or data modifications performed by authorized or compromised personnel within your organization.
8. Limitation of Liability
Paytimate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from service interruptions or internet connectivity issues beyond our control.
